letter of interpretation
so now that I have to get the letter from the NJDEP. I got the forms, well it turns out the architect who is working the variance papers wants more money to do the LOI papers. So i took upon my self to do that part. Called the DEP the lady on the phone was very helpful
she directed me to the library for the plans. I went to the west windsor library but they didnt have the maps so i went to the Lawrence library found the maps and had to copy the map in 12 sections to cut and paste to recopy at the staples as i could not take the map out to copy it. found the Geological survey for the soil survey and printed that. Sent out certified letters to the neighboring land owners to let them know that I was having the NJdep line out the wetlands and of course sent all the paperwork to the state with $240.00 now we wait.

beurocracy rules
Love the red tape. The township engineering consultant sent in his evaluation and guess what he thinks there is wetlands on my property. I asked him for the clarification and find out that he is using a 1986 map. I went to the NJDEP website and they have a updated map from 2007 but the engineer wont accept it he wants the letter of absence or presence from the NJDEP. Now that involves more paperwork and fees
( surprise...surprise).

trees
Had a number of trees overshadowing the property some were dead or dying, got John Pauls tree service to cut them down just in time before Hurricane irene hit, they did a great job cleaned the whole area like they were never there.
Amish
went to meet Ely at A and E builders in lancaster. very nice guy. discussed budgets and estimates for certain things we need done. he will get back to me. Overall it was a great meeting. No overselling , no showoff. Just the facts.
variance update
looks like the variance should be heard on Nov hope all goes well. we had some papers to update and of course the township wanted more money.
